Hey, how are you? We’ve had the pleasure of hearing some songs form your debut CD, and we think they are great…can you tell us when the album will be coming out?
Album release, I wish I knew too.

How does it feel to be in an all girl band, while everyone seems to be focused on ‘boy-bands’?
I feels great to be in an all girl band, but we’re more then just a girl band we’re musicians too and play our own instruments. That makes us different from all the other girl groups out there. As for the boybands, well they better watch out for us.

What was it like opening for ‘boy-band newcomers’ Dream Street?
I think opening up for Dream Street is great, but at the same time I’d wish we’d have someone open up for us.

What’s one thing you love about being in RubyBlue?
One thing I love about being in rubyblue is meeting people and playing.

Who are some people you look up to musically?
I look up too Angus Young of ACDC..he’s my guitar idol, and Joan Jett for being as rocked out as you can get.

Is there anyone you would like to collaborate on future RubyBlue projects with?
I don’t know who I’d like to work with yet with ‘rb’…my main concern right now is ‘rubyblue’.

Do you remember your first concert? Who did you see?
My 1st concert was Metallica…I won tickets on a radio station here in NY. It was great. I was 17.

How about your first CD you ever bought?
My 1st cassette tape I’d ever bought was Def Leppord. I don’t recall my 1st CD.

How is it being the eldest of the band? Do you often take on the older sister role?
Being the oldest in the group is nothing special. We all hang out and have a great time and sometimes I forget about the age difference. We all share advice with each other.

Do you feel any pressure to be a good role model for young girls?
No, I don’t feel any pressure that I have to be a role model for younger girls. I feel more like a symbol for girls…If I can do this than any of you can.

What are some things you would like to accomplish in the future?
Well…I live today for today and tomorrow for tomorrow.

If you could spend one day with someone from the past, who would it be and why?
If I could spend a day with someone from the past I’d have to say Dido…I met her with some friends after a concert. She was just a nice woman with lots of experience and it would be nice to learn from her.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
If I could change 1 thing about me it would be nothing…I’m happy with the way I am and if I were to change then I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

What do you look for in a guy?
What do I look for in a guy…someone who knows how to treat a girl, who can take care of themselves as well, someone who knows a bit about life, someone who can teach me things.

Do you have a celebrity crush?
My celebrity crush is Barry Pepper….he played the sniper in "Saving Private Ryan"…and other was related films…just too cute!

Do you have a boyfriend?
Yes I have a boyfriend…most of you know about my boyfriend John. He’s from Ireland and just the cutest thing ever. He is very supportive of my music and helps out as much as he can.

What has been your worst job EVER?
My worst job ever was working in a Deli!!! No names..ha ha ha.

Have you ever had a really bad dating disaster? If so would you mind sharing it with us?
Well I’ve been on a few dates in the past and I can’t say any of them were disasters…if I didn’t think It would work out I’d be straight with the guy and tell him how I felt.

What’s your worst habit?
My worst habit is biting my lips…I really need chap stick.

It’s only been 8 months since the September 11th tragedy, yet it feels like yesterday to many. Do you remember where you were when it all happened?
On 9/11 I was at the top of my block watching it happen. I called up everyone I knew to make sure they were ok. I lost my cousin in that tragedy. I had a hard time dealing with it all. For some reason it had hit me harder then I thought it would have and there were times when my friend had to talk to me for hours because I was crying. But the more I spoke about how I felt the more I felt better.

Do you have any advice for kids trying to still deal with the after effects?
My advise to anyone dealing with this is just to talk about it. As much as it may hurt, talking about how you feel will help you get through it little by little. Just remember you’re not alone!

Is there anything you would like to say to the RubyBlue fans reading this right now?
What I have to say to our fans reading this right now…nurture the power you must radiate if you hope to excel!!!

Thank you for taking the time to sit down and answer a few questions for us we really appreciate it, as we’re sure everyone else does.
Thank you for the interview…I look forward to visiting your site!
