Greyson Chance Records Debut Album in Los Angeles

Greyson Chance may be having the best summer vacation ever. The 12 year old piano prodigy who captured the world’s attention in May with his stunning cover of Lady Gaga’s "Paparazzi" and appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has relocated from his native Edmond, OK to Los Angeles, CA, where he’s currently in the studio recording his forthcoming debut album for Ellen’s own ElevenEleven label & Geffen Records.

Introducing: ONE CALL

When Travis Garland of NLT confirmed on his official blog in April of this year that it was the end of NLT and that Kevin McHale, Justin (JJ) Thorne, V Sevani, and himself had parted ways as a band, it was definitely a bummer. The super talented group was just on the rise and we were disappointed that we’d not get to see them reach the top.

But out of some downer news comes great news!

While Travis and V work on their own solo musical ventures, and Kevin acts his butt off on the FOX television series GLEE – JJ has been hitting the studio with his new group — and you may recognized a couple of them. Justin has joined Johnny Wright’s latest group ONE CALL that includes former Menudo members Chris Moy and José Bordonada as well as newcomer, 17 year-old Anthony Gamlieli. The guys have been recording some tracks for their first album including "Like Them Girls".

Where’d they get the name? As Chris so simply put it, "It’s funny how one call can change your whole life." For more check out One Call’s official MySpace page.

US5 Shows Off Their Inner Wildcat

There’s another “boy band” that’s been making it big overseas and are now about to take the US by storm, and they’re kicking it off big…. “High School Musical” BIG! European pop group, US5 (Izzy Gallegos, 25 – Jay Khan, 26 – Richie Stringini, 19 – and Vincent Tomas, 16) recently released their third album “Around The World” and the second single, “The Boys Are Back” is a song from “High School Musical 3″ that’s performed by Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu’s characters, Troy and Chad!

New Music To Jam To: LITTLE JACKIE

Imani Coppola and partner Adam Pallin make up the New York-based, Little Jackie. In 2007 the duo was signed to S-Curve Records and began working on the debut album, “The Stoop”.

30 year-old Imani Coppola grew up one of the youngest of five in Long Island, New York to a black mother and an Italian father. Not coming from a ton of money, Coppola felt that most of the time she didn’t fit in and she grew tired of her family constantly getting picked on. With her wild hair, strong vocals and knack for songwriting, Imani signed a recording contact with Columbia Records in 1997 and released her first album that produced a hit song that aired on MTV. We’re sure you caught their cameo in the new M&M CRU with a U [ACDC Dance Battle] video, but you’ll be able to see the ladies up-close and coast-to-coast this summer being sponsored by McDonald’s on AVP Pro Volleyball Tour.
