Death Cab For Cutie To Release First ‘New Moon’ Single

On August 27th, MTV.com reported that the first single from The Twilight Saga: New Moon official soundtrack will be Death Cab For Cutie‘s “Meet Me on the Equinox”. The song will premiere on MTV.com on September 13th – the same day at the network’s Video Music Awards. DCFC bassist Nick Harmer sat down with MTV News to discuss being a part of the much anticipated soundtrack from the Twilight movie franchise. “We didn’t expect it would be chosen for the first single — we were thinking it would be a part of the soundtrack, maybe,” Harmer laughed. “I have no idea if ['Twilight' author] Stephenie Meyer approved it or what. It’s been an exciting process, because we’ve been so removed from it. We were in L.A. for a week and we went into the studio and wrote and recorded the song and submitted it. We didn’t know where anything stood, and then we just got a call last week like, ‘Guess what — your song has been chosen as the first single.’ “ [READ MORE]

‘New Moon’: The Volturi, First Look

Here’s the FIRST LOOK – released by Summit Entertainment – of The Volturi from The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Pictured below is Michael Sheen as leader Aro, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, Jamie Campbell-Bower as Caius, Dakota Fanning as Jane, and Cameron Bright as Alec. Among the three production stills from the movie is a picture of Charlie Bewley as Volturi member, Demetri and Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen. The Volturi is practically vampire royalty in The Twilight Saga — the most powerful vampires there are and we can’t wait to see how this talented group of actors bring the characters to life in New Moon, which comes to movie theaters this November 20th.

Twilight Make-up Line Launches Website
