James Lafferty & One Tree Hill Charity Basketball GameEvery year fans of the hit CW television drama, One Tree Hill meet up in Wilmington, North Carolina to take part in the annual charity basketball game hosted by one of the shows stars, James Lafferty. On March 24, 2007 – Fanvasion made the trip out to the small town, where the show is filmed to take in the festivities! When we arrived that morning, we already witnessed swarms of people all waiting outside the Cape Fear Community College: Schwartz Center for the doors to open and the fun to begin, we could already feel the adrenaline that would soon be pumping through the basketball gym.

As the crowd moved in and found spots on the shiny bleachers, the Tree Hill Ravens (who are the fictional basketball team from the show) began to warm up for the big game against Cape Fear’s home team. If you didn’t have ear plugs, you would’ve needed them when the squeals overcame the gym as soon as James took to the court to shoot a couple of pre-game rounds. [READ MORE]

America’s New Favorite Band – Fall Out Boy!Chicago natives Fall Out Boy (L-R — drummer Andy Hurley, bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz, lead singer/guitarist Patrick Stumph and guitarist Joe Trohman) formed their band a little over four years ago, and in doing so began a journey to becoming 2005′s hottest (excuse the cliché) “boy band.” Of course they don’t sport matching outfits and dance around to choreographed songs, but they are of the male gender and they are a band.. so please avoid the hate mail for that comment.

The music isn’t straight pop, nor is it full-on punk.. but it does include elements of both genres. Don’t let that confuse you though, they don’t want to be thought of as a “pop-punk band,” but they’re not emo either just because they express their feelings very vividly.. then again, what real songwriter doesn’t? Paris Hilton: What Makes Her So Hot?It’s very rare that you can turn on the television, radio or even flip through a magazine without seeing something on hotel heiress turned model–reality TV star–fashion designer–perfumer–actress & songstress Paris Hilton! At only 24 years old, Ms. Hilton is already a tabloid queen.

As the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton hotels and the major source of the family’s estimated $300 million dollar empire; Paris and younger sister Nicky share the throne as the Hilton heiresses — and although they had a much privileged upbringing, Paris has been able to shy as much as possible away from her famous last name and make one all for herself.“I don’t want to be known as the granddaughter of the Hilton’s. I want to be known as Paris,” she said. [READ MORE]

One Tree Hill: Oh, What a Tangeled Web They WeaveSome might say the WB’s new hit drama One Tree Hill is “another Dawson’s Creek.”

“Oh, what a tangled web they weave” may be the slogan you see on all the promotional posters lately. But, it’s honestly true….and this is why…

The story of two half-brothers growing up in the same hometown of Tree Hill, North Carolina – Lucas (Chad Michael Murray, Dawson’s Creek and Gilmore Girls) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty, Emeril), they have only three things in common – they share the same father, their love of basketball and they both like Nathan’s girlfriend Peyton. Mandy Moore, Tells You ‘How To Deal’Sometimes life gets turned upside down. And maybe that’s why it’s so hard to believe that anyone, especially 17 year-old Halley Martin (Mandy Moore), could actually experience that thing called love.

The people closest to Halley are in the midst of major upheavals in their love lives. Her mother, Lydia (Allison Janney), is embittered by her recently finalized divorce. Her sister, Ashley (Mary Catherine Garrison), is marrying a guy with whom she is constantly fighting. Her best friend, Scarlett (Alexandra Holden), can’t keep her hands off her first serious boyfriend. Most distressingly for Halley, her father, Len (Peter Gallagher), who is a DJ at a local radio station, combats his midlife crisis with a stereotypically boyish elopement to the station’s much younger traffic reporter.

So how’s Halley supposed to deal? She isn’t about to let herself succumb to the pipe dream of storybook romance, and Macon Forrester (Trent Ford) is the one guy who challenges her idea that love just complicates a perfectly good friendship. As Halley’s life grows more and more complicated, she finds a friend in Macon, but when she feels herself falling for him, will Halley move beyond her fears and disappointments to experience real love? WOW! We got TONS of votes for many artist over the last couple of months! We have to say this is one of the most unusual list we’ve ever seen. From top recording artist to newcomers. The final list was made up and calculated on the votes YOU sent US. Many artist didn’t make it that we really thought should. Tons of artist made an impact this year like Kelly Rowland, Nelly, Good Charlotte, Soluna, B2K, Simple Plan and the list goes on and on. But, of course if we had to name everyone it would probably be the 50 Hottest Stars. This was our first time around, maybe we’ll do 50 next time. Thank you to all the fans who voted and check out the final results below.

#1 Chris TrousdaleThe dream is gone…some might say, when they hear the name “Dream Street.” Those five boys out of New York were well, on their way.. What happened? Who’s fault was it? Where did everything go wrong? Their fans find those same questions going through their head every time they pop in the album of their, now no more favorite boy band. But, when you think about it…it’s not completely over. CHRIS TROUSDALE, one of the remaining members of the group hasn’t gone anywhere. The 17 year old heartthrob with his crazy signature hair is excited and geared up to launch his awaited solo career.

Recently he’s been popping up everywhere for the screenings and concert tour of his movie The Biggest Fan (which costars rising actress, Kaila Amariah). He also recorded two songs for a Christmas album entitled “School’s Out,” which you may have heard one of his songs “Wild Christmas,” played on the popular teen-drama the WB’s Dawson’s Creek. Oh and let’s not forget the duet he did with rising Swedish girl-group, Play. Their remake of the “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me,” a 1960s duet between Motown artist, The Temptations and The Supremes, was #1 on Radio Disney and played almost everywhere! [READ MORE]
