BREAK OUT ROLE: Playing party girl, Sarah Borden and steaming up the screen with Jesse McCartney on The WB’s “Summerland”.

HER EARLY START: Sara made her way into the acting lifestyle during an early age in the mid-nineties, on a game show where contestants would have to predict the answers from seven children to random questions.  For the next couple of years she starred in small roles on the big and small screen before landing the guest-spot role of Sarah Tobin on the WB short-lived sitcom, “Greetings from Tucson”. Little did Sara know, it wouldn’t be her last time working with the network. For the next two years Sara appeared on everything from “Will & Grace”, “Malcolm in the Middle”, and “CSI: Miami” to Nickelodeon’s “Spongebob Squarepants” before landing the role of the mean but popular Stacie in the 2004 teen-oriented flick, “Sleepover”.

A WILD SUMMER: Back to the small screen starring alongside Lori Loughlin and pop-singer Jesse McCartney on the WB mid-season hit, “Summerland” Sara played the object of McCartney’s characters’ affection. Her role as the pot smoking, alcohol abusing and trouble loving teen, Sarah Borden earned Sara a whopping new crop of fans but, also allowed the young actress to showcase her vocal abilities when she performed a song with McCartney in an episode.  After her stint on the drama was up, Sara landed her first starring role on the Discovery Channel’s educational family show, “Darcy’s Wild Life”.

MUSICAL VENTURES: In early 2005, Sara began recording her first album with Epic Records and acclaimed producers and song-writers, Kara DioGuardi, Greg Wells, and The Matrix. The first single is looking to be between the catchy “Here We Go Again”, “Temporary” and the post break-up power ballad, “I Miss You”. The album is looking to be out in the next few months.

LAND DOWN UNDER THE SEA: You can next catch Sara in the upcoming fantasy-comedy, “Aquamarine” co-starring with Emma Roberts and singer, Joanna ‘JoJo’ Levesque. Sara plays Aqua a mermaid who is discovered in a swimming pool by two pre-teen girls. When Aqua falls in love with a local beach lifeguard, it’s up to her new friends to help her ‘human-ize’ to win his heart. The movie was filmed in Sydney Australia and can be expected to hit theaters in March of next year.
