Hey Liz, how are you doing?
I’m doing pretty good, how about yourself?
For those out there who’ve never heard of you can you tells us a bit about yourself?
First off, my name is Liz and I’m fifteen years old. I’m from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. And, I sing, act, and model.
Who would say has been your biggest influence?
I’d have to say my dad. I’ve always looked up to him.
What song/artist can you most relate to and why?
I can most relate to Christina Aguilera. One of the songs on her newest album “Singing My Song” I can best relate to. If you’ve ever listened to the song you know that it’s about being criticized for doing what you love and how it brings you down. I’ve been criticized a lot because of my career… So, when I heard the song, I could relate to every single word … especially since it had to do with singing.
How would you describe your music?
My music is unique. It’s not your regular popular music… Since I’ve been trained as a Broadway/pop singer I like to do a little bit of both. But, as I’ve gotten older I’ve grown with my music style and I tend to incorporate pop-rock, Broadway, punk, reggae, really a little bit of everything into my sound. I wouldn’t want to be categorized as a ‘pop’ singer, or a Broadway performer. just categorized as Liz, because my sound is unique and different.
Do you write your own music, and if so what’s the process you go through when writing a song?

Yes, I write my own music. I don’t think there’s ever a specific process that I go through when writing a song. They just come to me… There are days when I’ll write 5 songs and others when I can’t think of a thing. I just let things flow, it’s much easier that way.
Where do you see yourself with your career in the next 5 years?
In the next five years I still see myself performing… I’d really like to direct and produce. I think that could be a lot of fun, and I’ve always been interested in directing and producing. I’d also like to start my own label.
If you could do a cover song with any artist who would it be and why?
I would really like to work with someone like Cher or Janet Jackson… Someone like that, yeah. Just because, I’ve always looked up to them, and it would be a dream come true for me.
When know you’ve opened up for Aaron Carter, what was it like to be up onstage in front of so many people?
It’s always really fun and exciting… I like being onstage, it’s fun.
What do you think about when performing live?
What I’m gonna do next to surprise everyone! And to not forget the words or dance moves… I’ve done that before, haha.
